Hello to Blackburn Primary!

A big shout out to Blackburn Primary who I visited yesterday. What a nice bunch they were. I took the author with me as it was too far away and I don't drive of course, being eight and all. Actually, one of the pupils asked Corinne how old she was....that did make me laugh! Rx

Ralph shortlisted for 'Gateshead Children's Book Award 2010'!!

Well, what a fine start to the morning! There I was, eating my cheerios, when suddenly the phone rang to inform me that we'd been shortlisted for the Gateshead Children's Book Award 2010...the top 12 books were voted for by children, just like me, which makes it even more special!! What an honour! My sister is quite put out. She once received a nomination for the pinkest pencil case in the class, but I don't think that's quite the same thing!

Ralph is a medical miracle!

Well, ok that might be going a bit far, but I have been sent two different stories this week (one from someone my age and one from someone....frankly much older.....in his forties!!) reading about my misadventures in hospital to cheer themselves up. One was even told off for laughing too much...I do hope they're ok. What a great service I provide, I wonder if I could take it up professionally!! Glad to be have been of service Rx

This is getting embarrassing!! Here I am on another website!!

Well, who can believe it! Here I am again, recommended on the tots2teens website too. I'll be getting a big head at this rate.....and I'll turn into my sister!  Thank you nice people at tots2teens Rx

Scot Mum Website review ....ME!

Well, what do you know! One of my fans just mailed to tell me that there was a book review ....all about me... on the Scot Mum's website. That's very kind of all those Scot Mums isn't it.....what a kind bunch. I must tell my mum and Ivy about this! Rx

Ralph survives a room full of young ladies....without blushing!

Well, I survived the girls brigade...who were really very nice and quite easy to talk to, even though there were about 35 girls just in one group! Don't tell Amy that I've been hanging out with girls in uniform, I'd hate her to get the wrong idea! Turns out lots of the girls brigade were also writing books (just like the author Corinne Davies did about me!) and are also big fans of libraries and chess too. Gosh it's a small world!
