Ralph who is not a superhero!

Oh hi...I'm Ralph. Are you sure you want to know about me?

Ok then...my name is Ralph and I was named after an actor that my mum liked. My dad wanted to call me 'Ronaldo'. I think I'm more of a 'Ralph', so that worked out well.

It's strange suddenly being so popular, but I'm not letting it go to my head..(though it is cool that people let me jump the lunch queue now if I've got extra chess practice.) The TV crews that follow me around can be a bit much sometimes though. The other day I nipped into the public toilets opposite the library and by the time I came out there were two photographers taking my picture. I wouldn't have minded, but I had a bit of toilet paper stuck to my leg. My sister tells me that when she is famous she will be much better at it than me.

I've got a new girlfriend, she's called Amy. I like Amy as she's a deep thinker like me..she's not just after me for my pocket money. Amy is eight too, so we have a lot in common.

My other good friend is called Ivy, but she's a bit older so we talk about different sorts of things. I've never asked her, but I guess she's about 100. Ivy is just an amateur chess player, but she makes lovely cakes and we talk a lot about history, so she's still pretty cool. Amy doesn't get too jealous!

Favourite Colour: Black...and white too.
Favourite Food: Tuna as it's good brain food and focusses my chess game. Also bananas if it's a long tournament, for energy!
Favourite Hobbies: Chess (obviously), reading and generally avoiding all paparazzi and football teams!
